Welcome to the Florida page.  Here, I have collected a few notes regarding the upcoming Florida meeting tentatively scheduled for April 22-25th, 1999 A.D.  Hopefully, this will serve as a collective resource of what has been agreed upon to date along with links to local Florida information, lodgings, and attractions.  Please do E-mail in any further information that you think will make this a more useful resource.  This page is "in progress" project - please check back often. :)

    Places to Stay

    Please Note:  Please examine the listings below carefully as it is normal for
    rates to change according to the season.  The cheapest places will probably end up being the hostel(s) and campgrounds but do not expect much in the way of unnecessary comfort items!

    Bed & Breakfasts

    Popular House" (also, known as the Key West Bed and Breakfast)

    Maybe, this will help someone out who is still looking for a place. While doing some research I
    came across a place named the "Popular House" (also, known as the Key West Bed and
    Breakfast). I contacted them by phone and they told me that a single room was available as of today (03/07/99) when I telephoned them from April the 22nd through the 25th for $79 per night. The guest house can be reached directly at 800.438 6155 between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. There is also a website at http://www.keywestbandb.com/ but the prices there were not the same as quoted to me over the phone. Have no first person experience with them so cannot say what they are like.
